The only live trademark registration for Nipper and His Master's Voice
in the United States is Serial 71195205, owned by RCA Trademark
Management Societe in France.
The registration covers the following, and my apologies to the list for
it all being upper case, but this is copied and pasted from the USPTO
website:
IC 007 009 011 012 015. US 021. G & S: RADIO APPARATUS, PARTS, AND
APPURTENANCES--NAMELY, RADIO RECEIVING SETS, [SOUND AMPLIFYING HORNS
HAVING TELEPHONE RECEIVERS,] LOUD SPEAKERS, [LOOPS,] [ MICROPHONES, ]
RADIO RECEIVING SETS MOUNTED OR CONTAINED IN CABINETS WITH TALKING
MACHINES, RADIO RECEIVING SETS ADAPTED FOR COMBINATION WITH TALKING
MACHINES, RADIO RECEIVING SETS WHEREIN PARTS OF TALKING MACHINES ARE
USED AS PARTS OF RADIO SETS, WHEREIN TALKING MACHINES ARE USED AS LOUD
SPEAKERS, [AND WHEREIN THE SOUND AMPLIFYING HORNS OF TALKING MACHINES
ARE PROVIDED WITH TELEPHONE RECEIVERS AND [ MICROPHONES ]; AND FOR
ELECTRICALLY-OPERATED TALKING MACHINES] AND PARTS, SUPPLIES,
[ACCESSORIES,] AND APPORTENANCES THEREFOR--NAMELY, ELECTRIC MOTORS,
COILS, TRANSFORMERS, [ RHEOSTATS, ] ELECTRIC SWITCHES AND ELECTRIC STOP
MECHANISMS.
This is the only live trademark registration. All the others are dead,
including the single one pertaining to sound recordings, 71066696. This
one will probably go as well unless renewed; its last renewal was in
2004 and I believe trademark registrations are only good for 20 years.
