Thanks for the link. I have a copy of that very magazine and never noticed the article! It's typical
that they put the woman last in the article, but she got a good quote in at the end.

Of the A&R folks mentioned, probably the longest U.S. careers were Seymour Solomon at Vanguard
(which he owned, so he was both a successful A&R man and a successful businessman) and Dick Jones at
Capitol. Jones was still producing classical records for Angel in the 1970s, and seemed to be
present on many U.S. sessions produced by EMI folks from the U.K., based on session photos.

The grand marshall of all classical A&R parades is still Walter Legge.
