Hi Tom,

I bought some of these a few years ago for a radio station.  Part of 
how the original worked is that the fabric underneath the "bristles" 
was absorbent.  That made it possible to dry the disc and keep the 
proper humidity for picking up dirt from the grooves.  The new fabric 
frequently is not absorbent.  The hole in the handle for storing the 
fluid is also MIA.  The current D4 seems not as effective as well.  I 
used to refill the bottles with more effective third party fluid.
