That's the cassette deck, right?
I had one serviced recently at MTZ Electronics in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
It took some diligence to track down the parts and some patience waiting
for service, but it runs like a champ now, and didn't cost too much. I did
buy a few small parts directly from Tascam.
Email me off list for more details if you are interested, I think I may
have some paperwork from Tascam on that machine.
