I am interested in these EAC-CPF files because they can pertain to a guidebook I’m writing — Linked Archival Metadata: A Guidebook. [1, 2]
The purpose of the Guidebook is to provide an overview of linked data and instructions for making it happen in archives. If there were a critical mass of EAC-CPF files, and if these files were to have (actionable) URIs, then the EAC-CPF URIs could be included in archival descriptions and made accessible via linked data. Thus helping make the vision of the Semantic Web more of a reality for archival descriptions.
Alternatively, EAC-CPF files could be made directly available as linked data. Has anybody written applications / stylesheets transforming EAC-CPF into serialized RDF? What about EAC-CPF into HTML?
