I agree with you. In my presentations, I generally have imagery of original album art. I don't mess
with trying to track down the latest in-print CD source, but anyone interested can do some minor
googling and find what they need. In the case of what I'll be using for audio examples tonight, some
of it is in print and some of it never was issued on CD. It's usually this way with my
presentations. For instance with the 35mm presentation I did for ARSC in Rochester, and the
extended/expanded version I did for AES last fall, all of the audio was sourced from original LPs
except some of the Everest material I used last fall.
