I think it's interesting that the two orchestral recordings featured in the
these publicity films are: 1. 1955 Munch-BSO Tchaikovsky R&J which is the
one Stereo Munch recording NOT released on CD (at least in the US they have
always used the 1962 remake on CD) and 2. 1955 Fiedler-BPops recording of
Grofe's Grand Canyon Suite that was never released in Stereo LP format until
the 1970s on the budget Victrola label, and then NOT with its mono-LP
discmate (El Salon Mexico) that was recorded contemporaneously with the
Grofe. And this recording has never been released on CD.(BMG deferred to
using the 1964(?) BPops remake when issuing a Fiedler Gr Canyon Suite).
