My system seems to work well-as I record, I use the serial number of the
record as the file name, and keep it in a dirctory by artist name, and do
basic noise reduction. When I have finished editing the sound and it is good
to go, I save it as the actual title of the song. If it is a different
artist on the second side, I will save by serial number in the directory for
that artist. If the genre is identifiable, such as opera, I create a
directory according to voice type, then a direcory with the artist's name.
i.e. Opera/Soprano/BeraltaCelys. I have a terabyte dedicated disc for
unfinished projects. Once finished, all files are moved to a back up drive
for archiving.-Mickey
