AFAIK 'RadioDownloader' received a cease and desist notification from the BBC. This was for the direct downloading of Beeb progs. using RTDump as the kernal.
However RadioDownloader can still download RSS and Podcasts from wherever incl. the Beeb. - these are intended for the public domain anyway and are free.

This is why I personally have no qualms about using downloading technologies for accessing Beeb programmes; having paid for the programmes in my licence fee and yet having had that money wasted on this aborted project.
