" Earlier this afternoon, a hearing was noticed for next Wednesday April 2nd at 2pm for "Preservation and Reuse of Copyrighted Works". As usual, the hearing will be in 2141 Rayburn and streamed as well. The hearing is expected to cover such issues as orphan works, mass digitization, and the portions of Section 108 that deal with preservation and deteriorating works. This hearing will not address the educational use issues of copyrighted works in Section 108. Educational uses of copyrighted works will be the topic of a future hearing.
