I would find yourself a sturdy double wall box that gives you an extra 2
to 3" inches in each dimension for cushioning. I would remove what you can:
rack ears, feet and hub spindles, if possible. Then use those expandable
foam packaging bags to create "custom" cushioning" for your beast.
