I have some JVCs that came from Fry's on sale. I don't remember what I
paid for them but they were inexpensive, in the price range you mention
or possibly lower. Don't even have a model number on them that I can
find. 900MHz. Very light. The batteries are not easy to replace. I don't
even use them anymore.

I see Boss Audio HP34C - Dual Channel Infrared Foldable Cordless
Headphone, $30. Note: that is Boss, not Bose.
