I am in the New York City area, and I'm looking for someone (or
institution, or recording facility) to transfer a wire recording in my
possession, probably made in the mid-1950s, to a listenable audio file or
CD.

So I'm wondering if anyone knows where I might go to get the wire recording
converted, as I said in or around NYC.
