I'll put in a good word for the USPS. I've never had a problem with them
except one new carrier that put a reel to reel tape inside my apartment
mailbox. Unfortunately, when he closed the mailbox, the frame around it
wouldn't let me get it out - I had to catch him the next morning when he
had the mailbox frame open to get Martin Denny. My local post office has
been great.
FedEx can be wacky for home delivery, at least for me. Sometimes they
leave packages with my apartment manager (which USPS and UPS do) and
sometimes they don't and I have to arrange for an alternate delivery.
