For most of the symphonies, the complete set on the Brilliant label by
the Austro-Hungarian HaydnOrchestra (a recording assemblage of Viennese
players) under Adam Fischer. This is on 33 CDs and can usually be found
at a bargain price.

For the London Symphonies, the most liked version seems to be by Colin
Davis with the Concertgebouw. Also on a bargain label (Philips).

The early and middle period symphonies are a real treasure trove.
