The 33rd Edition of The Reel Thing<http://www.the-reel-thing.org/> will take place in Los Angeles over the course of three days, August 21 - 23, 2014, including an opening night reception and screening on August 21.
Presenting the latest technologies in audiovisual restoration and preservation. The Reel Thing brings together a unique line up of laboratory technicians, archivists, new media technologists and preservationists. The event will take place at the Linwood Dunn Theater in the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' Pickford Center for Motion Picture Study in Hollywood.
