It does look sort of fibrous.. Which makes me thing mold, but I think mr.
Seva could be right. If all of the tapes were stored together, it could be
a leeching out of whatever chemical/glue the paper/fiber insert inside the
cassette mightıve been put together with?
Have you wiped any of the material off yet to see if itıs bonded with the
oxide? Eeeeek
