Perhaps you are too young to remember when ISBD was introduced? The
amount of time the statement of responsibility slash saved us in not
having to come up with "[by]" in the language of the text was
considerable.
Detailed word labels will be even more time consuming than that task I
fear.
Our programmer finds brackets and slashes dependable code, as opposed
to word labels with their misspellings (as we encounter in Onix and
Dublin Core). Why should we expect more accuracy and consistency with
word labels in BibFrame than in Onix and Dublin Core?
