As far as I can tell, the box is just the same 1970s masters as the LP
boxes. But they did do a 2-disc Concerto set with new transfers that was a
big improvement.
I guess BMG didn't want to take on the whole enchilada. And that does leave
room for someone else to do a better job. I for one would like to have the
Edisons with
all of the alternates included.
