You should see if they'll give you a tour. Take some pix, or better, video. As I understand it, they
have the EMI presses which made all the beloved LPs from the 60s -- Beatles, Beecham, etc. Ask them
if they're using the same or similar vinyl recipes. And who maintains the presses? Where do they get
parts? Are they using original infrastructure in the old factory (steam boilers, electrical plant,
etc)?
They must be relatively small-scale because first EMI and then UMG chose to press the Beatles LP box
sets (2012 stereo, 2014 mono) in Germany.
