Amazon and several Japan-based sellers that ship to the US, are known to sell unauthorized reissues
in various genres, which are gray-market or even black-market in the US. Amazon also sells product
by a company that rips Mosaic reissue CDs and re-sequences to original LP formats, with LP cover
scans. Of course, these sales cut right into Mosaic's, and discourage quality reissues. If people
want junky-sounding needle-drops and cassette dubs, they should go right ahead and buy unauthorized
reissues. This will assure that high-fidelity product will remain locked in vaults. Every penny paid
to pirates and gray-marketeers is money not available for high quality reissues.
