The editorial board of the Journal of Contemporary Archival Studies
(JCAS) is pleased to announce the publication of its latest article,
“Investigating the "small world" of literary archival collections: the
impact of EAC-CPF on archival descriptive practices – Part 1:
Relationships, description and the archival community” by Katherine M.
Wisser, Associate Professor and co-Director of the Dual Degree program
in Archives and History at the Graduate School of Library and
Information Science at Simmons College. This article is the first of a
three-part series prepared by Professor Wisser on Encoded Archival
Context – Corporate Bodies, Persons, and Families (EAC-CPF).
The board would also like to thank everyone who visited JCAS in 2014.
Our inaugural article received 3,230 full-text downloads and we are
looking forward to making 2015 a banner year for the journal and its
readers.
