I have one of these and use it with a Stanton 500 or Shure M78 for wide-groove transfers. I have
found this unit to be a good value as far as being able to playback many recording curves and
sounding good for the money. If you don't use a high-output cartridge, it gets noisy. Your Grado
should do the job.
If you can stretch your budget, quite a bit, this one is what I'd call the cat's meow:
