I would say the title is a bit of an exaggeration, but the article is interesting none the less.
That former Philips-DuPont plant in North Carolina was, technically, very high quality in its time.
The original Mercury Living Presence CDs were pressed there, and the plant went to great lengths to
make their finished product match the 1630 tapes they were sent.
