Folks coming to Pittsburgh for the ARSC Conference will perhaps be interested in a unique area museum that houses lots and lots of automated musical instruments:

It is a little harder to get to from the Westin than the Warhol Museum across the river from downtown and the Carnegie Museums in Oakland since it is in one of the affluent suburbs overlooking the Allegheny River. But to tour a gigantic mansion full of musical gizmos and other curiosities is worth the trip. It is by tour only and must be booked in advance. Check out their website, but if you are interested in going, I suggest not looking at too many photos online and saving more of the surprises for the tour.
