Hello Mr. Lewis
I was Ellen Lebow's tape editor from 1970-1980 (excluding '72 & '73).
Starting 1970, she started including matrix numbers and dates on the jacket labels.
I don't think there were any 500 series higher than 508.
From the OP series there were FAUST, AIDA, & CENERENTOLA that were put out in the 60s.
She reissued the OP-1000 Faust with Vezzani and issued OP-1001 Madam Butterfly with Margaret Sheridan.
She reused the number 1001 for that.
I have the 3-page (6-sided) catalogue of all Club 99 issues up to the [never released] CL-119 (Tales of Offenbach Vol. 2).
Some of the listings are detailed as far as lieder/aria and some are only the names with the CL numbers.
1-1/2 pages are devoted to reviews by various famous critics.
I can scan the 6 sides and email them to you if you'd like.
Regards,
Ben Roth

Subject: [ARSCLIST] Assistance with Club 99
Friends,
This is for a project that I'm working on about the reissue opera label Club 99 Records. I have the content on most of the releases, but am missing information for the following:
Club 99 2, 3, 26, 31, 41-43, 48, 56, 57, 60, 64, 73, 76, 77, 80, 90, 96, 99 102, 113, 116, 117 CL 501, 503, 505 and any CL number higher than 510 and lower than 587.
Any OP number other than 1001
Any BNS other than 1965-1966
In the case of the three latter series there may not be more numbers, but all of the numbers in the top two rows should have been used barring some unpredictable misadventure.
thank you in advance for any titles contributed!
best,
David N. Lewis
