I doubt it is a choice between a buggy or car. It is more a choice
between evolution and revolution. We have been out of that buggy
since we closed our card catalogues.
What I attempted to suggest in my analogy drawn from the "Atlantic"
conference report, was that we might be happier improving something we
have as opposed to creating something new and different, which we can
not afford. .
