Oh noes we're getting into a http-range-14 debate!
Here's a simple solution for you:
- if your resource is a document, give it a URI and make it foaf:Document
- if your resource is a physical thing or an abstract concept, add
#this to the document URI and make it foaf:Person or whatever type
- in the second case, add foaf:primaryTopic/foaf:isPrimaryTopicOf
relations between document and thing/concept.
Problem solved.
