Also, FYI - Indiana, Washington, Arizona and Nevada submitted a session to PLA-Denver about Letters About Literature. We are spinning it as "How to do a really big writing contest for your state or large library district." We submitted a couple of weeks ago and are waiting to hear back. We'll let you all know how that works out.

Would this be Letters About Literature promotion?

We have been sending letters to our authors (if they are living) and our students have received kind and encouraging letters back from them.

I would like to talk about this further but am unable to attend the Idea Exchange this year.
