As has been pointed out, the Mac vs PC argument is an out-dated one.
It is more about what the software does, and how it is written for each
platform that is the true issue these days. I am talking only audio
software here. When I can mix LIVE FOH, 8 separate monitor mixes, a
separate broadcast mix and multi-track 48 channels simultaneously on ONE
slow PC every week, I don't understand how someone can say that PCs are
not up to snuff. It is the programmer, not the platform. I also equate
"Industry Standard" to really mean Most Popular.
