Typical mainstream TV production. No need to turn up the nose. Probably no one involved with the
production was alive in the age of 78s or knew what they were made of -- most civilians don't!
Indeed, among the new generation of hipster vinyl trenders, there's little or no knowledge of
grooved-media history except in how it relates to them buying old soul or jazz records from the
dollar bins.
Aside from Jerry's classic quote below, his last part, where he envisions his death sequence could
inspire a comic opera about record collectors and sellers.
One more tip of the hat to Jerry's -- the massive musty cave/garage of dollar bins netted two very
good ones plus a host of decent-condition sleeves that I wanted. I'll gladly pay a dollar for a cool
sleeve that I want to hang on the wall.
