Aside from your other questions, unless a deck has been in use in recent
months or years deterioration sets in.
Without use over an extended period condition of the bearings, brakes and
rubber parts is usually questionable.
These days its best to acquire something you known there are parts around
for and service techs who know the machine.
A quick scan of e-bay can be informative.
