This proves my point about Apple being an "industry standard" for video production. Luckily, no such
situation exists in audio.
Hollywood may be very sorry to put all eggs in one basket this way. Steve Jobs is now long enough
dead that the day may come where Apple decides it wants to be an incredibly profitable phone and
gadget maker and stop bothering with full-sized computers. Their pro-video market is a small part of
the company now. The massive consumer gadget market is likely to drive their future (especially if
they succeed in beating down Samsung like they've already beat down Sony and others), and the future
may have no Swiss Army Knife type big boxes with motherboards and hard drives.
