Having transferred over a 1000 sides recently, I found that that particular
stylus was almost unusable in creating desirable results. In fact, I found
that using much smaller sizes (1.5 FCR & 2.0 FCR) and alternate shapes (LP
stylus) were far superior in reducing noise and increasing clarity of the
content. If using the KAB sound escort I'm not sure you would need to
rewire your cartridge as it appears to be inverting the phase in the unit,
though I have never used one of these myself.
