Polarity reversal and 180 degree phase shift are two different things.
They only appear to be the same thing for symmetrical waveforms of constant
Phase shift is time delay. Polarity is sign (+ or -).
So to answer Tom's question, if you remove the "(180 degrees)", then the
answer is yes.
