Hello!

From time to time I am able to obtain old Basf LP35 tapes almost for free.

They use to record quite well, but always leave a good deal of dust and
brown oxid on the tape heads and the capstan. This means I always have to
clean the heads after I have played or recorded on those tapes.
Is this quite normal for that type of tape?

I know a lot use this kind of tape, they are housed in nice grey plastic
boxes that looks good in the shelf as well!
