The ARSC Online Media Committee<http://www.arsc-audio.org/committees/om-committee.html> (OMC) is pleased to announce: ARSC members may now propose video projects to include on the ARSC YouTube Channel<https://www.youtube.com/user/arscaudio>! If you've got a video project in my mind that aligns with the education, preservation, and access mission of ARSC, we'd love to include it on our YouTube channel.
As part of our effort to promote ARSC and share the expertise of our community, we've developed Video Production Guidelines<http://www.arsc-audio.org/committees/video_production_guidelines.html> which will help guide you through the process, including: how to initiate a video project, the project approval process, gaining permission from video subjects, copyright considerations, video quality recommendations, technical standards, ARSC branding and credit screen standards, the publishing process, and promotion and outreach of videos. All the requisite forms have been developed to make the process as smooth as possible, but if you've got any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the OMC<http://www.arsc-audio.org/committees/om-committee.html>.
We are very excited about this new development and hope that you'll consider proposing a project!
Ready to propose a project? Just fill out this video project proposal form<http://www.arsc-audio.org/committees/video_proposal_form.html> to get started.
Thanks!
