I was very happy to see what Teachout said about Wilde and Whitman: "In addition, there are a few fascinating counterfeits, including alleged recordings of Walt Whitman (widely regarded as a fake) and Oscar Wilde (definitely phony)."
I've seen the media get this wrong more than once. Teachout, via Twitter: "I tried to read everything out there regarding both recordings before writing those two parentheses."
