I'm with Nathan here! I tried to purchase something from Jay and was told very abruptly and emphatically that he would not sell ANYTHING to me. I realize there are at least two sides to every discussion but I could quite happily be spared receiving any advertising from a company who won't sell to me, but obviously from the above response, others feel differently.
I think Jay should limit himself to posting information items on this list and anything to do with what he's selling only to the libraries he wants to sell to.

I have enjoyed the postings from Music Hunter for their musical content. I
know they only sell to libraries.

Thanks for your note Nathan.
We don't expect to do ANY business with ARSC folks as Music Hunter deals
exclusively with libraries ( public & university ).
In fact, we have declined numerous opportunities to sell your members
directly.
I am posting this reply on your forum in the hopes that some ARSC members
will verify the above.
I posted the Sonambient Recordings notice as I thought it may be of interest
& start a thread as many of our postings have done in the past.
