New people join the list frequently. Many of them won't have heard of
Music Hunter elsewhere and will naturally take Jay's posts at face value as
commercial posts. As long as they take the form they've been taking,
there's no practicable way for him to "clear things up once and for all."
However, I've experimented to see how long it takes to adapt a Music Hunter
post to conform to ARSClist requirements. I was able to accomplish this in
about thirty seconds. If Jay isn't able to take that step himself, perhaps
one of the people who have mentioned appreciating his posts will volunteer
to be added personally to Jay's mailing list, to take the thirty seconds to
modify his posts, and to forward them along to ARSClist in an appropriate
form on Jay's behalf. Any takers?
