I think Suzanne posted here about selling tape and I emailed her and now I
have a few 1/4" reels of PEM468. I haven't tested them yet beyond the
"gravity test", but they seem fine when I let them roll to the ground.
Some of the tape boxes have stuff written on it. Off the top of my head,
one is a Billy Joel record. I don't think it answers your question as to
why they have so many tapes available.
FWIW, Ms. Bolstad was very easy to deal with and she mailed me the tapes
before my payment even processed.
