When that Westminster Lp was released, texts for lieder and chanson
collections were considered *de rigeur*. EMI and DG were the leaders in
supplying them regularly, but Westminster was the most responsible US label
in that respect, along with Unicorn, while Columbia and Victor rarely
included them. Frankly, without holding said Lp album in hand, I find it
hard to summon a memory of a separate compartment for the notes as a
regular packaging feature.
