Hi Tom-Although the acoustic part was not as exciting as what is reported
on in your WSJ article, I got one of the so-called Google Cardboard
Viewmaster gizmos with my NY Times a few weeks ago, and found the virtual
experience quite amazing, although now and then mildly stomach upsetting.
I thought at the time that it would be incredible to watch a stage
performance that had been recorded in this format. The St. Matthew Passion
by Simon Rattle and Berlin would be stunning, just to mention one. I think
virtual is our future.
