I still use SP-15s which use many of the same parts including that chip, so
I'm well aware of the problem. Some can be fixed, others are dependent on an
unobtainable chip.
Try Music Technology in Springfield, VA. 703-764-7005. They seem the most
experienced repair shop I've encountered that is still in business.
A fellow recently queried the ARSC list, trying to find dead tables of this
series to try and develop a work-around.
