For the record, there's a switch to turn off the device, and another switch to turn off the
microphone, so it needn't be constantly "listening." I'm not big on voice-activated anything, but
I'm probably older than the target audience for this gadget. Supposedly the voice-recognition is
better than Apple's Siri. Anyway, my price is a discount to recently completed on eBay and a steep
discount to new on Amazon. If you do a lot of stream-listening or do audiobooks via Audible, it's a
useful device. Also if you live alone and want to ask questions out loud and get answers in actual
sounds in the air rather than in your head... ;)
