Which makes me wonder. How would Bibframe handle subject headings
from different lists and countries? In MARC, this is done by 65X
second indicators and sometimes $2,

For example:

651 0 $aUnited States$xHistory$xWar of 1812.

651 5 #aCanada$xHistory$xWar of 1812.
