I have returned from London where I was on the BBC 4 show Midweek talking about the future of cartography http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b0738hlr . I also paid a visit to Google's Deep Mind AI Labs and talked about mapping the web (it was quite amazing as they were in the middle of the Alphago competition), before heading to Cambridge to teach a seminar on using Hilbert Curves to visualize complex networks like the web.....
I am scheduled to talk this week to the producers of NPR's Science Friday about setting up a time in mid-April to talk about the blog, Twitter and the future of cartography...will let you know when I have something more as we have not confirmed anything definite yet...
All the best.
