So it sounds like there is a bit of interest in this and I have also had a couple of discussions off list.
We're going to start with a GitHub repo that does two basic things:
1. Has examples of free text date strings and what their EDTF equivalents should be.
2. Has EDTF strings and what their humanised versions should match and also what their min/max dates
Both will allow for multi-lingual versions and also setting some preferences on parsing dd/mm/yyyy and
mm/dd/yyy. Hopefully once we get a stake in the ground we will be able to come to a consensus in code
and other implementations can use the data as part of their tests/formatters.
