The ALCTS CaMMS Competencies and Education for a Career in Cataloging
Interest Group will meet on Friday, June 24 from 1:00-2:30pm in HYATT
Regency Orlando, Room Bayhill 21. The interest group will host an open
forum to discuss a new draft professional cataloging competencies
document produced by the Cataloging Competencies Task Force. After a
brief introduction to the methodology and rationale for the document’s
construction, session attendees will have time to review and comment
upon the draft. A link to the draft, as well as options for sending
written feedback, will be announced closer to Annual.
