Enabling Innovation in the Era of the Cloud--A Syllabus
Dr. Michael R. Nelson is the featured speaker at the ALCTS President’s Program at the 2016 ALA Annual Conference in Orlando. As new digital tools and business models emerge over the next decade, cloud technology combined with broadband wireless, sensors, Big Data and machine learning will transform how we interact with information and will fundamentally change the way we interact with the world and each other. But only if organizations are ready to embrace the opportunities they provide.
Please join us for this intriguing President's Program that will provide a tutorial on how to create a culture of innovation in your organization. In addition, ALCTS President Norm Medeiros, Haverford College, ALCTS President’s Program Chair October Ivins, Ivins eContent Solutions, and Dr. Nelson will engage in a discussion with the audience on how new digital technologies could transform library services and programs.
This session will be held Monday, June 27, 2016 10:30 am to 12:00 pm in the Orange County Convention Center, Room W304 A-D.
